The Industrial Chair for Deep Geothermal Energy supports research, development, and training that promotes the geothermal energy sector in France and beyond.
It brings together scientists involved in ongoing French and European research projects, funded by the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME), the French National Research Agency (ANR), and the European Union. The Industrial Chair also manages the LabEx G-eau-thermie Profonde’s collaborations with industry partners, including: ÉS, Storengy, and Total.
Created in 2014, the Industrial Chair is coordinated by the University of Strasbourg, in association with the CNRS and ÉS.
